"Hey, I'm sorry I can't be there with you in LA, I wish I was. I'm here in Melbourne, Australia, making a movie about a bunch of Irish outlaws, which is quite mad. But if that isn't mad enough, I'm sitting here and I'm receiving THIS, this beautiful MTV award which has been voted for by you guys, and I am so grateful. Thank you so much for voting for me. I'm flattered and uh, thanks. Um, the experience of working on Lord of the Rings was truly life changing, and I have to thank Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, their creative team, everyone involved in making the movie, couldn't be done without them. And thanks to you guys for voting again. I hope you enjoy the second movie as much as the first one. And to all the people who I love in my life, thanks a lot. Lots of love. Bye.
